You're doing what? That is the question I got when I told people I was leaving the practice of law and starting a coffee company. I wanted a place where people were happy. And nothing makes me happier than good friends, good coffee, and beautiful airplanes. And, voilà, Pilot Fuel Coffee was born.
Few things worth doing happen alone. So I brought my daughter's boyfriend along for the ride. Most people cannot imagine a young man who would want to go into business with his mother-in-law. Most young men are not Nick. He is the most supportive business partner I could imagine.
